You can read our guides without creating an account. We do not operate a registration form, newsletter database, checkout, analytics dashboard, or advertising tracker in this version of the site.

If you choose to contact us using your email application, your email provider handles the message. A received message may contain your name, address, and anything you include. Do not send passwords, identity documents, payment details, or sensitive household information.

We do not set cookies for advertising or analytics. Room checklist selections use sessionStorage on your own device to keep progress during the browser session. This data is not transmitted to us. Closing the session or using “Reset checklist” clears that progress; browser session-restoration settings may extend its lifetime.

The reset timer uses temporary in-memory data and resets when you leave the guide or reload. We do not use localStorage. You can clear site data in your browser settings or restrict browser storage; guides remain readable if storage is unavailable.

Our use of strictly functional, session-only storage is not a marketing consent request. If optional tracking or cookies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before their use.

The website serves its stylesheets, scripts, photographs, and fonts from its own hosting. Reading a page does not require your browser to contact a third-party font, image, analytics, or advertising service.

As with most websites, the hosting provider may process technical request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and error data to deliver pages and maintain security. Provider-controlled retention may differ from ours. Contact us for information about the hosting arrangements applicable to your request.

External informational links are optional. If you follow one, the destination website handles your request under its own privacy policy. We do not control external websites or independently guarantee their practices.

Checklist data remains in your browser session. If correspondence is received, we keep it only for as long as reasonably needed to address the inquiry and meet applicable legal obligations, and review unnecessary correspondence for deletion. Technical logs are subject to hosting-provider retention rules.

Do not use email to share sensitive data. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure; we cannot promise absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to request portability or withdraw consent where consent is the basis. You may complain to your local data-protection authority. We do not discriminate against users who exercise applicable rights.

Use our contact page to request information about personal data associated with correspondence. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. Browser-only checklist data can be cleared directly on your device.

This site provides general household information and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit their personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal data, contact us to request its removal where applicable.
